Corey Kluber suffers fracture in forearm on comebacker
Corey Kluber suffered a fracture in his pitching arm after being hit by a comebacker on Wednesday night.
The two-time Cy Young Award winner was nailed by a line drive off the bat of Miami Marlins right fielder Brian Anderson during the fifth inning.

Kluber exited the game after being hit and immediately went for X-rays, which showed a non-displaced fracture of the right ulna.

Adding insult to injury, Kluber was charged with the loss in the game and is 2-3 with a 5.80 ERA this season. He will likely miss extended time while the injury heals.
This is the second straight year the Indians have lost one of their top starters to an injury on a comebacker. Last year, Trevor Bauer missed several weeks after taking a line drive off the leg in August.
