David Price made fun of teammates Troy Tulowitzki and Josh Donaldson for sitting across from each other in an intimate manner.
The Blue Jays pitcher took the photo in the team’s training room and posted it on Twitter, along with this caption:

Price may have been mocking his teammates with the “who sits like this?!” line, but this photo might actually be more significant than it appears on the surface.
The three people involved here are all newcomers on the Jays; Price and Tulo were acquired prior to the trade deadline, while Donaldson was picked up in the offseason also via trade. It’s not unfathomable to think that the clubhouse chemistry greatly improved with the additions of these fine players and that that’s a big reason for the team’s second-half surge. I mean a photo capturing a genuine moment between close teammates certainly is much nicer to see than a forced one like this.
