The LA Clippers on Thursday hosted their first game since Kobe Bryant died on Sunday. They decided to honor Bryant appropriately.

The Clippers play at Staples Center in Los Angeles and share the arena with the Lakers. When the Clippers host games, they typically cover the Lakers’ retired jerseys.

On Thursday, they left Bryant’s jerseys uncovered as a tribute to the late legend.

The Clippers and Lakers were supposed to play on Tuesday with the Lakers as the home team. The NBA postponed the game, believing players were not ready to play. The Lakers’ first game since Bryant’s death will be on Friday at home against Portland.
