Lamar Odom has been spotted in public a few times recently. Though his behavior during interviews has been bizarre, he insists he is living a healthy lifestyle and is in shape enough to make an NBA return. According to the latest report from TMZ, that does not mean Odom has stopped drinking.
On Wednesday night, a witness reportedly spotted Odom at Beacher’s Madhouse in Hollywood hanging around the bar and ripping shots of Patron. Odom supposedly hung out with a bunch of guys for several hours and “could not be seen without a glass of champagne” the entire night. The source claims he stayed until after 2 a.m., at which point he was seen at the valet area talking about an “after party.”
From what we understand, Beacher’s Madhouse is a show with a circus-like atmosphere where little people perform in costume, often dressed as oompa loompas. The bizarre establishment seems to be quite popular among the Hollywood crowd.
Is it a crime for Odom to enjoy a night out at Beacher’s Madhouse and have a few drinks? Of course not, but I doubt NBA teams want to hear that he is out getting “hammered” if they are considering giving him a shot this season. The more we hear about Odom and the more he talks to reporters, the more it is starting to sound like his NBA career could be over.
