The salary cap continues to grow in the NBA. For comparison, last season’s figures were $99 million for the salary cap and $119 million for the luxury tax.
According to Spotrac data, as of Saturday, 13 teams were already over the salary cap amount. Two (Toronto and Washington) have enough money committed that puts them into the luxury tax. Of course, plenty can still change in the future.
