The Philadelphia 76ers believe they will have Joel Embiid back for the regular season.
According to Keith Pompey of Philly.com, there remains optimism in the Philadelphia camp that Embiid is “on course” to be back for the regular season after recovering from a knee injury he suffered last season.

Embiid may be ready, but he also may be restricted in some way once the season starts. He isn’t even participating in 5-on-5 drills yet, and despite the team’s optimism, given his extensive injury history, they’ll be very sure not to rush him back too quickly.
