Baylor called for key offensive foul in final minute (Video)
Baylor was called for a key offensive foul in the final minute of their first-round NCAA Tournament game against Yale on Thursday.
The Bears, who were trailing most of the game, were down 74-70 in the final minute. Taurean Prince tried to drive to the basket, but he lowered his shoulder and was called for the offensive foul, giving the ball to Yale.
Committing the turnover on that possession seemed to erase Baylor’s best chance at closing the gap. They ended up losing 79-75, giving us our first 12-5 upset of the Big Dance.
