Colorado Buffaloes forward Tory Miller was ejected from Wednesday’s game against Air Force after pulling a Luis Suarez.
Miller was on the ground fighting for possession with Hayden Graham and ended up biting his opponent in the shoulder:
This was actually Miller’s first start of the season, so it wasn’t exactly a good showing. He scored two points and grabbed three rebounds in 13 minutes of action.
“Tory is an emotional player and there was something in the scrum there,” CU coach Tad Boyle said via BuffZone.com. “We’ll deal with it. Tory is a great kid. He’s an emotional player. He’s a competitive player. And he needs to keep his emotions and those competitive juices in check. Tonight they maybe got the best of him, but he’ll be fine.”
Miller got a flagrant-2 foul for the bite. Graham apparently showed an official the bite mark on his shoulder, which resulted in the ejection.
