Michael Richardson kept in locker room after cheap shots at opponent

MIchael Richardson Texas A&M

Texas A&M graduate assistant Michael Richardson did not come out with his team in the second half of the Aggies’ bowl game against West Virginia on Monday after head coach Kevin Sumlin was informed of the cheap shots the assistant was taking at the opponents.

Video showed Richardson taking swipes at Mountaineers players on two occasions during the first half of the Liberty Bowl in Memphis. After Sumlin heard about the actions, he told Richardson to remain in the locker room.

Richardson played for Texas A&M until breaking his neck in 2012. He has been a graduate assistant ever since, but his coaching career will be harmed by his dirty actions on the sidelines. Remember how hard it was for Sal Alosi to get a gig after he tripped Dolphins players on the sidelines?
