Aldon Smith and Colin Kaepernick got into a fight at 49ers camp this week, possibly over a girl, according to a new report.
Smith was released by San Francisco Friday following his third arrest for DUI since 2012. TMZ reports that the sack master got into a fight with Kaepernick on the field during practice Tuesday and teammates had to pull them apart. TMZ also says Smith broke up with his girlfriend, Nessa, in recent months, and there have been rumors about the QB now being with her. It is unclear whether these allegations had anything to do with the fight.
Smith took a leave of absence during the 2013 season to clean up following his second DUI arrest. He was suspended for nine games last season and added another incident to his laundry list of problems following an issue at the airport.
As for Kap, well, this is the second time he’s been caught up in a beef over supposedly stealing someone’s ex-girlfriend.
