Matt Barnes apparently is not too fond of Colin Kaepernick.
The Los Angeles Clippers forward posted on Instagram Thursday to congratulate fellow Sacramento native Arik Armstead on being drafted in the first round by the 49ers. In the caption for his post, Barnes took a shot at Kaepernick by calling him a “hoe.”
Between Barnes’ comment and what Bruce Irvin wrote on Twitter, “hoe” seems to be the popular diss word lately.
So what’s up with Barnes disliking Kaepernick? According to TMZ, Barnes has had beef with the QB for a while.
Multiple sources close to Matt tell us the beef with Kaepernick goes back several years — and stems from a situation where Matt felt “disrespected” by Colin.
As one source extremely close to Barnes puts it — “Matt hates his guts.”
That sounds about right. As we’ve learned in the past, Barnes has a huge chip on his shoulder and has beef with many people. But if rumors are accurate, Barnes has very good reason for disliking Kaepernick.
