Many are wondering what Peyton Manning will do after winning the Super Bowl. Will he walk away from the game and retire? Will he continue his NFL career? Will he go to a new team? For what it’s worth, his dad Archie thinks the latter is possible.
“I think Peyton’s done in Denver. I think Peyton’s done in Denver,” Archie Manning repeated in an interview with NFL Media’s Jeff Darlington after the Super Bowl. “He may be done everywhere. I don’t stick my nose in it, so I don’t know that, but that’s my guess.”
After the game, Peyton declined to share his thoughts on retirement, but there is a big belief he will walk away. After all, one doesn’t stick his neck out supporting an alcohol brand the way Peyton did unless there’s a backup plan in place.
