Baker Mayfield declares himself most accurate QB in draft ‘by far’
Baker Mayfield probably isn’t going to be the first quarterback selected in the 2018 NFL Draft, but he is confident any team that overlooks him will be missing out on the best passer in the class.
While speaking at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis over the weekend, Mayfield declared himself the most accurate quarterback “by far” in the upcoming draft.

The claim isn’t as outrageous as it may seem. As one person pointed out on social media, Mayfield has the two best seasons in NCAA history for passing efficiency.

Based on some of the information that has surfaced during the combine, it sounds like Mayfield’s stock could be improving. He’s probably still not going to be chosen ahead of Sam Darnold, Josh Rosen or Josh Allen, but there’s a growing sense that he will be taken in the first round along with the others.
