Brandon Marshall: I haven’t spoken to Jay Cutler in two years

Brandon Marshall and Jay Cutler were once close friends, but it has been a long time since the two have spoken to one another. According to Marshall, the silence stems back to when they were teammates.

In an appearance on “The Rich Eisen Show” Thursday, Marshall said he has not spoken to Cutler in two years.

“For years everyone considered us brothers and, you know, it is my brother, but we haven’t talked in almost two years,” Marshall said.

When Eisen noted that Marshall would have been teammates with Cutler in Chicago for one of those two years, Marshall began laughing hysterically.

“That’s pretty good,” he said while offering Eisen a fist bump.

While it’s possible that Marshall was exaggerating, we wouldn’t be surprised if he has not spoken to Cutler since Marshall reportedly called out the quarterback in the middle of the 2014 season. Marshall previously admitted he had not spoken to Cutler in a while when he made these entertaining remarks about his former teammate and friend.

Nothing can be more offensive than the joke Marshall made when a Twitter follower asked him who the best quarterback he has ever played with is. It’s very obvious that the relationship between Marshall and Cutler is beyond strained.
