Brian Baldinger suspended six months for bounty comments
Brian Baldinger was suspended six months by NFL Network for his comments about the Eagles putting a bounty on Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott.
Speaking with 97.5 The Fanatic in Philly last week, Baldinger suggested the Eagles hit Elliott hard during Sunday night’s game and even wanted the team to put a bounty on the back to incentive knocking him out of the game.
Baldinger later said on Twitter he meant the comments in jest but that his point was Elliott needs to get knocked around a bit.
@GarlicFriesBeer lighten up ..it was mostly tongue in cheek… The only point was that Zeke hasn't been popped yet

The Sporting News’ Michael McCarthy confirmed with NFL Network that Baldinger had been suspended six months for the comment. Elliott ended up rushing for 96 yards on 22 carries in the Cowboys’ 29-23 win over Philly.
