Broncos legend makes bold prediction about Aaron Rodgers

The Denver Broncos are viewed as a logical suitor for Aaron Rodgers should the star quarterback decide he wants to play somewhere other than Green Bay next season, and one Broncos legend seems convinced his former team is going to land the NFL MVP.

In a recent interview with FanDuel’s “More Ways to Win,” Terrell Davis said he feels it “makes too much sense” for the Broncos to not land Rodgers this offseason. The Hall of Fame running back said there is a lot of buzz around Denver that it is likely the Broncos will find a way to acquire Rodgers.

Davis sounded more like he was speculating than sharing inside information, though he did mention his “sources.” The Broncos obviously would love to have Rodgers, but there have been signs that the 38-year-old is on solid ground with the Packers and may not want to leave.

The Packers are reportedly willing to go “all in” to keep Rodgers. They want to contend for Super Bowls while he’s playing at a high level, and they are supposedly willing to sacrifice their long-term future to accomplish that.

Rodgers has not ruled out retirement, so he may not play anywhere in 2022. He did seem to drop a strong hint about his future while accepting his MVP award last week.

If Rodgers does ask the Packers for a trade, the Broncos certainly won’t be the only team interested in him.
