Browns OL Alvin Bailey arrested for OVI, marijuana charges
Cleveland Browns OL Alvin Bailey was arrested for OVI early Monday in Ohio after his team arrived home from Miami.
According to CBS Cleveland, Bailey was pulled over for doing 50 mph in a 35-mph zone. His blood alcohol level was 0.145, nearly twice the legal limit. He ws cited by officers for OVI and charged with failure to comply, drug abuse, drug paraphernalia, speed and unsafe vehicle according to court documents. The unsafe vehicle charge was for driving with a cracked windshield.
The Akron Beacon Journal’s Nate Ulrich reports that Bailey said he was drinking on the team’s plane flight home from Miami, which is against team rules.

Browns executive Sashi Brown already released a statement about the arrest, saying he had “displeasure” and “extreme disappointment.”
