Channing Crowder: I peed my pants during every game I played

Channing-Crowder-Rips-Jeff-IrelandFormer Miami Dolphins linebacker Channing Crowder says he used to pee his pants during every single game of his NFL career. No, that isn’t his way of saying he used to be nervous during games. He actually went to the bathroom in his pants.

As Awful Announcing pointed out, Crowder recently took part in a trivia segment for NFL Films where players and coaches were asked to reveal obscure facts about themselves. No one was as revealing as Crowder.

“I peed down my leg during any game,” Crowder said, sporting a serious look. “I never went to the bathroom in a toilet. Six years straight I peed down my leg. I would just be in the huddle and just pee. You wouldn’t even notice. Nobody in the stands would know unless you look down like, ‘That’s not water man!'”

No, this is not common practice across the NFL. Crowder, who seemed to indicate he did this out of enjoyment more than necessity, said his Dolphins teammates did not appreciate having to stand near him while his trousers were filled with urine.

“My teammates didn’t enjoy it as much as I did,” he added with a laugh. “(They’d say), ‘Damn Crowder, you’re so nasty man.’ Yeah, it’s cool.”

Since Crowder seems to love revealing fun facts about his former teammates and other professional athletes, we’re glad to see he is willing to share secrets about himself as well. Although, some people probably wish he kept that to himself.
