Report: 1 team viewed as most likely to complete a Davante Adams trade
If and when the Las Vegas Raiders trade wide receiver Davante Adams, one specific team is viewed by the rest of the league as most likely to get it done.
Many of the teams that have checked in on Adams’ availability ultimately believe the New York Jets will be the team that ultimately lands the wide receiver, according to Dianna Russini of The Athletic. The Jets have been consistently linked to Adams, in part because of the receiver’s long-standing relationship with quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

The Jets may be the ideal mix of need and interest. Though they have weapons such as Garrett Wilson, Adams would give the Jets a bona fide No. 1 wide receiver with the resume to match. The Jets have been viewed as one of Adams’ preferred destinations, and the Jets have been linked to a possible Adams trade for over a year.
Adams has asked the Raiders for a trade, though he will not necessarily come cheap. It has been a slow start to the season for the former All-Pro, who has a modest 18 catches for 209 yards and a touchdown through three games.
