DK Metcalf carted to locker room with knee injury
The Seattle Seahawks lost wide receiver DK Metcalf to a knee injury during Sunday’s game against the Atlanta Falcons.
Metcalf tried to make a leaping catch early in the fourth quarter but was upended on the play. He landed awkwardly and was later seen on the sideline trying to work through the pain.

The Seahawks were ahead by 17 points at the time, which probably factored into Metcalf not returning. However, the severity of any potential injury remained unknown before the end of the game.
Metcalf is obviously one of Seattle’s most important players. The star receiver made four catches for 99 yards and a touchdown in the 34-14 win over Atlanta before he left the game. He remains the team’s leading receiver, having entered the week with 469 yards and two touchdowns.
The Seahawks have a big name next week against the Buffalo Bills. They will be hoping Metcalf will be ready for it, but that remains to be seen.
