Dustin Hopkins interrupted during interview by Redskins employee (Video)
After Sunday’s game between the Redskins and Bengals, Washington kicker Dustin Hopkins looked set to do a postgame interview when a team employee had other ideas.
Late in the overtime period, Hopkins came on to attempt a 34-yard field goal. However, he would miss wide left, which kept the score tied 27-27. Cincinnati fumbled on their next possession and Washington couldn’t score their final time with the ball, resulting in the tie.
After the game, Hopkins was in the midst of an interview when a member of the Redskins public relations staff, who could be heard yelling “No!” prior to appearing on camera, quickly interrupted.

For what it’s worth, Hopkins seemed willing to proceed. That didn’t matter to Redskins Vice President of Communications Tony Wyllie, though. He was not having it and made sure things did not go any further.
Two seasons ago, Wyllie interrupted an interview with Colt McCoy. You can see video of that one here. Afterward, Wyllie gave this reason. It will be interesting to see what was behind this latest incident.
