Cleveland Browns coach Hue Jackson has no plans to shake up his coaching staff despite the team’s 0-9 start.
Speculation has increased in particular around defensive coordinator Ray Horton amidst that unit’s struggles, but Jackson tried to quash that speculation on Monday.
“I say that with no question,” Jackson said, affirming Horton’s job security, via Pat McManamon of ESPN. “And I don’t want to continue to get into those kind of things. That’s probably the last question I will probably take on any of our staff members about their job. Because it’s not about that at all, in my opinion.”
The Browns are definitely feeling the heat. One of their players had to make this guarantee. They seem disinclined to make major changes at this point, and it’s probably too late anyway.
