The Cleveland Browns are looking at ways to involve Terrelle Pryor in their offense this season.
Terry Pluto of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reported that coach Hue Jackson, who coached Pryor in Oakland when he was still trying to make his living as a quarterback, is drawing up plays specifically to get the ball in Pryor’s hands as a wide receiver.
Pluto says the plays are mostly to take advantage of Pryor’s athleticism, and largely consist of short passes and reverses and similar ideas.

The Browns need playmakers, and they believe Pryor is capable of being that. He’s dabbled in receiving before, but the team will be looking for even more from him going forward. Jackson’s challenge will be molding that skillset into something they can work with. If he and his coaching staff can succeed, the Browns may have something.
