Jermichael Finley is determined to continue his NFL career despite suffering a devastating spinal cord injury last season that had some wondering if he would be able to have full motion in his body again.
Finley had spinal fusion surgery on Nov. 14 and is already looking into playing in the upcoming season. He visited the Seattle Seahawks two weeks ago, to but, according Green Bay Press Gazette reporter Pete Dougherty, Finley failed his physical with the team.
NFL source says Seattle failed TE Finley on physical. Didn't say if Sea might later re-check. Finley only 4 months removed from neck surgery

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s Bob McGinn reports that the Seahawks essentially told Finley to stay in touch as he continues to recover. They also say Finley is at least two months away and possibly more from being ready to sign with a team, so that seems to coincide with the report that he failed his physical.
This news really should not come as much of a surprise; it’s going to take a lot more than five months of recovery time before Finley is cleared to begin playing football again, regardless of what he may be hoping.
