Kirk Cousins did not force the Minnesota Vikings to switch restaurants during their free agent visit, contrary to a report.
Prior to Cousins’ visit with the Vikings, NFL Media’s Tom Pelissero reported that the quarterback was on a variation of the Tom Brady diet. Because of that, the Viking supposedly were going to dine at a different restaurant from the usual steakhouse where they take players.
According to @TomPelissero Kirk Cousins is “on a variation of the Tom Brady diet” so the Vikings are having to take him to a different location than their normal steakhouse spot for free agents.
Major red flag imo.

Cousins did sign a three-year deal with the Vikings. He apparently did so without making a restaurant switch.
Cousins told The Monday Morning Quarterback’s Jenny Vrentas that he ate steak at the dinner.
“I just ate what they served!” Cousins told Vrentas. “It was a steakhouse, and I loved it.”
That’s a solid way to erase any notions that Cousins is beginning his Vikings career as a prima donna. It’s all somewhat unfortunate for the Jets, who made a big push for Cousins and apparently were pretty bummed about missing on him.
