New England Patriots wide receiver Mack Hollins is back and perhaps better than ever with his stadium arrival prior to Sunday’s AFC Championship.
Hollins arrived at Empower Field at Mile High Stadium in Denver, Co. on Sunday for the AFC Championship barefoot, which is not new. What is new is his rather dramatic homage to the 1979 film “The Warriors.”
Hollins tapped glass bottles together while mockingly inviting “warriors” to “come out to play.”

This is par for the course for Hollins, who has become famous for his elaborate, theatrical stadium entrances. He only goes harder as the stakes get higher, and Sunday’s game is obviously the most important one the Patriots have played to date this season.
Hollins has even more reason than usual to be hyped considering he was activated for Sunday’s game. The 32-year-old had 46 catches for 550 yards and two touchdowns this season, but has not played since Dec. 21 due to an abdominal injury.
While best known for his looks, Hollins has a way with words as well. He’ll have something interesting to say whether the Patriots win or lose.
