Marc Trestman’s daughters Chloe and Sarah harassed by Twitter users
Chicago Bears fans are frustrated and angry with their team following an embarrassing 55-14 loss to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday that brought the team’s record to 3-6. Though many fans are disgusted with the team, some fans have taken out their frustrations in terrible ways.
As pointed out by Deadspin, a number of angry Bears fans have directed nasty tweets towards Sarah (right) and Chloe (left) Trestman, who are the daughters of Bears head coach Marc Trestman.
Below are some of the tweets:
@chloT94 @ChicagoBears your tranny looking dad is a disgrace to American football

Your dad's gettin fired @chloT94

The accounts of the people who sent the tweets seen below have been suspended (tweets were censored for vulgarity):
Chloe does not appear to have responded to the harassment, though Sarah did.
“It has nothing to do with my dad shut the f— up you idiots,” Sarah tweeted before wisely making her Twitter account private.
We’d say that the lows fans stoop to surprise us, but they don’t. We’ve seen this sort of horrifying display many times in the past, and it’s always disturbing. There’s something about being angry, anonymous and having access to others that brings out the worst in people. We feel badly for Trestman’s daughters and hope they can one day log back into Twitter without worrying about harassment from Bears fans.
