The San Francisco 49ers continue to be hit by the unfortunate injury bug.
Running back Matt Breida, who was questionable with a shoulder injury, exited Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals after suffering a leg injury on a carry late in the first quarter.

Breida was helped off the field. He had rushed for 56 yards on 8 carries prior to his injury.
Before that, it was Pierre Garcon who got hurt. The Niners wide receiver suffered a shoulder injury and was termed questionable to return. He had one catch for 9 yards prior to his exit.
San Francisco is already without some of their top players. Both Jimmy Garoppolo and Jerick McKinnon are done for the season with torn ACLs.
