Former Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel’s search for a new home continues.
The 48-year-old coach is scheduled to interview with the Atlanta Falcons on Wednesday. The meeting will be in person with Falcons owner Arthur Blank and “key members” of the organization, according to ESPN’s Jeff Darlington.

The Falcons are casting a wide net for their head coaching search. Atlanta’s white whale appears to be departed New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick. However, the team’s list of candidates extends far beyond just Vrabel and Belichick.
Vrabel found success as a head coach in Tennessee. In six seasons with the Titans, Vrabel led the team to a 54-45 record and three consecutive postseason appearances from 2019 to 2021. The 3-year playoff run was the longest streak since the franchise moved to Tennessee in 1997. However, he was still fired after a 6-11 season.
Vrabel had his first interview earlier this week with an AFC team. The 2021 NFL Coach of the Year likely has a long list of suitors for a head coaching job this offseason.
