Mike Zimmer has harsh response when asked about Vikings eyeing kickers

Blair Walsh continues to cost the Minnesota Vikings, and the team has had to look for alternative options.

Head coach Mike Zimmer did not mince words Monday when asked about the team’s decision to look at other kickers, one day after Walsh missed an extra point that ultimately cost the Vikings in a 22-16 overtime loss.

Asked to elaborate on the decision to check out kickers, Mike Zimmer said, "Have you been watching all year?"

Walsh hasn’t been the same kicker since this crushing miss. All other things equal, the Vikings wouldn’t even have gone to overtime Sunday had Walsh converted on the extra point, a game they ultimately lost. The time has come that they have to consider other options.
