Myles Garrett just wants to win, but even in the offseason, the Cleveland Browns can’t seem to stop fumbling the ball, so to speak.
After losing two-time Coach of the Year Kevin Stefanski, the Browns searched for his replacement and ultimately decided to go with former Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator Todd Monken.
But as a new sideline boss arrives in Cleveland, another coach appears to be on the way out, with defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz telling fellow coaches that he’s done with the team after getting passed over for the head-coaching gig, according to Mike Garafolo of The NFL Network.
Seemingly in reaction to the Schwartz news, Garrett shared a meme via Instagram Story.

Garrett has worked under Schwartz’s watch since the 2023 season, and he might have wanted the defensive coordinator to be Stefanski’s successor. But Cleveland looked in another direction, bringing in someone from a division rival to handle the team’s top coaching job.
Seeing Schwartz pack his bags and leave Cleveland will be tough for Garrett, but the superstar pass rusher will have to continue suiting up for the Browns, having signed a 4-year, $160 million contract extension with the team in 2025. It was a choice he made despite the familiar dysfunction that has long defined the franchise.
Selected first overall by the Browns in the 2017 NFL Draft, Garrett set a new single-sack record with 23.0 sacks in the 2025 campaign, thanks in large part to Schwartz.
