Nick Bosa addressed his past social media posts after being selected in this year’s NFL Draft.
The San Francisco 49ers made Bosa the No. 2 overall pick in Thursday’s first round. His immense talent helped make him worthy of that selection. However, heading to a liberal city like San Francisco led him to being asked questions about his past tweets. He admitted to being “a little insensitive” in the things he said.
Nick Bosa on his past use of social media and coming to liberal area of country: “I love the Bay Area and I’m excited to play there. I was a little insensitive in some of the things I said. I’ve learned a lot in the past few months." #49ers

Nick Bosa on “liking” social-media posts of a friend in 2014 that included racist and homophobic hashtags: “I was a 16-year-old scrolling through my Instagram and I liked a picture of someone I knew with a girl …"

Last year, Bosa was outspoken in his support for President Trump. However, with growing reports he may be drafted by the Niners, Bosa toned down his political commentary.
Niners fans are no strangers to players expressing their strong beliefs, most notably Colin Kaepernick and Eric Reid. This would certainly be nothing new but potentially something worth following.
