Odell Beckham Jr admitted on Thursday that he needs to do a better job of controlling his emotions going forward.
Shortly after New York Giants offensive coordinator Mike Sullivan ripped opposing defenders for antagonizing Beckham because they’re not “man enough” or “brave enough” to cover the star wide receiver without extracurriculars, Beckham told reporters he is setting a bad example for children.
A remorseful Odell Beckham said "What I'm doing is not something I'd want a 6-year-boy to learn from. I don't want to set a bad example."

Odell Beckham knows "there's blood in the water" and DBs will keep coming after him. And he said he doesn't blame them one bit.

Beckham said previously that he is being targeted by opposing players and the media, so the decision to take some accountability is almost a complete turnaround. Perhaps that has something to do with his own quarterback not defending his actions. Or, it may not be a coincidence that we heard earlier on Thursday that the Giants are considering taking serious disciplinary action against Beckham if he has another outburst.
As we mentioned before, Beckham is right that opposing players are coming after him. Now that he has shown an ability to keep his cool, why wouldn’t they? Getting under OBJ’s skin is basically a free 15 yards at this point. Only he can change that.
