The Denver Broncos are reportedly interested in acquiring Colin Kaepernick if they are unable to re-sign Brock Osweiler.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Media said Monday that the Broncos consider Kaepernick to be their “backup plan” at this point.
If the #Broncos lose QB Brock Osweiler, expect them to come after QB Colin Kaepernick. That appears to be their backup plan.

Osweiler has reportedly narrowed his decision down to the Broncos and Houston Texans, with talks supposedly having broken down with the former since they offered the 25-year-old a three-year deal several days ago.
Kaepernick’s name has come up several times in trade rumors this offseason, and his agent has reportedly asked the San Francisco 49ers to explore possibilities. The Niners have said publicly that they intend to keep Kaepernick, but rumors have linked him to a specific team in the AFC.
