Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Doug Baldwin left Sunday’s game with a knee injury, and it sounds like there is a chance it could cause him to miss significant time.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that Baldwin has been diagnosed with a partial tear in his MCL. While MCL injuries typically involve a much shorter recovery time than ACL injuries, the Seahawks are unsure exactly how long Baldwin will be out.

Baldwin missed a good portion of the offseason with a knee injury, and he indicated it was going to be something he would have to play through all season. He has missed just two games in his entire career, so we can expect to see Baldwin back on the field as soon as possible. However, the Seahawks lost Jimmy Graham and Paul Richardson this offseason and are thin at the wide receiver position. Any extended absence for Russell Wilson’s favorite target could be tough to overcome.
