Robert Woods was one of a handful of wide receivers who had an outstanding night on the field Thursday, but the Los Angeles Rams star got some bad news after his team’s win over the Minnesota Vikings.
Woods, who caught five passes for 101 yards and a touchdown, learned upon returning home that his house had been broken into. Law enforcement sources told TMZ that Woods did not set his alarm, so it’s unclear exactly when the burglary took place. It appeared as though the intruder or intruders entered through a back window, and Woods was working with authorities to figure out what was stolen.
Unfortunately, pro athletes having their homes burglarized while they’re at games is nothing new. We recently saw the same happen to another star athlete in the L.A. area.
