Samantha Ponder takes shot at fake John Madden Twitter account

Christian-Sam-PonderMinnesota Vikings quarterback Christian Ponder was actually playing pretty well on Thursday night before he suffered an injury. Ponder left the game late in the third quarter after he recklessly dove for the end zone and reportedly dislocated his shoulder.

At the moment, it’s tough to tell whether the Vikings are better off with or without Ponder. His interception on the first drive of the night against the Washington Redskins was his seventh of the season in only six games. After he exited the game, the well-known fake John Madden Twitter account poked fun at Ponder with a pretty clever tweet.

INJURY REPORT: Christian Ponder reportedly dislocated his non interception throwing shoulder tonight.

— Faux John Madden (@FauxJohnMadden) November 8, 2013

Ponder’s wife Sam, formerly known as Samantha Steele, did not appreciate the joke.

@FauxJohnMadden …says the guy using a parody account who asks the injured guys wife for career help? "I'm a lil confused by ur tactics…"

— Sam Ponder (@samsteeleponder) November 8, 2013

Clearly, the person who runs @FauxJohnMadden has had contact with Sam before. I can’t imagine what type of career advice they could have been seeking from the sideline reporter, but they just got roasted nonetheless. What do you expect? Couples who dress up like this for Halloween always stick together.
