Steelers RT Marcus Gilbert traded to Cardinals
The Pittsburgh Steelers have been looking to trade veteran offensive lineman Marcus Gilbert, and they found a home for him on Friday.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Steelers have traded Gilbert to the Arizona Cardinals for a sixth-round draft pick.
This deal is for a late 6th-round pick, per source. https://t.co/F88NJymMew

Gilbert, 31, has appeared in just 12 games over the past two seasons because of injuries. He was eventually placed on injured reserve last year after suffering a knee injury early in the season. Gilbert was also suspended in 2017 for violating the NFL’s drug policy. He’s entering the final year of a five-year, $30 million contract.
The big question, of course, is which quarterback Gilbert will be protecting in Arizona next season.
