Todd Gurley feels like Rams are unbeatable

Todd Gurley

The Los Angeles Rams are 4-0 and running through opposing defenses this season. Their strong performances have Todd Gurley feeling like the team is unbeatable.

Gurley had 17 carries for 83 yards and 4 catches for 73 yards and a touchdown in the Rams’ 38-31 win over the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday night. He and teammate Cooper Kupp joined NFL Network’s postgame show afterwards, and Gurley was asked by former Ram Kurt Warner whether they feel like they can be beat.

“Any team can be beat,” Gurley said, “but nah, we can’t be beat right now.”

Gurley’s confidence exists for a good reason. The Rams are averaging 35 points per game, putting them with the Chiefs and Saints among the league’s leaders. Beyond their offense, the defense has played well, allowing the fewest points in the league through three games. And although they gave up 31 points on Thursday, they came up with the big plays on defense when needed at the end of the game.

The Rams are legit and have very good reason for feeling so much confidence.
