Rams running back Tre Mason was arrested in Hollywood, Fla. on Saturday for multiple charges, according to a report.
ABC affiliate WPLG says Mason was arrested and charged with resisting arrest, marijuana possession, reckless driving and failure to register a motor vehicle. An officer allegedly saw him speeding, doing twice the limit in a 35 mph zone and began following him. The officer smelled marijuana in Mason’s Porsche.
They say Mason, who was arrested in front of Diplomat Landing, was taken to a hospital following the arrest.
Mason was a third-round pick by the Rams out of Auburn in 2014. He lost part of his workload last season following the emergence of Todd Gurley. Mason has rushed for 972 yards and five touchdowns in two seasons.
