Fans walking through snow at Highmark Stadium

The Buffalo Bills hired all the outside help they could to clear the snow at Highmark Stadium for their playoff game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, but it appears the task was insurmountable.

A massive snowstorm ripped through Buffalo over the weekend, forcing the Bills’ Wild Card Round game against the Steelers to be postponed from Sunday to Monday afternoon. The Bills had fans sign up to help shovel the stands at Highmark Stadium for $20/hour overnight on Sunday into Monday.

The playing surface was completely cleared before kickoff on Monday. A large portion of the stands were cleared as well, but some videos that went viral showed that some fans had to walk through multiple feet of snow to get to their seats.

Many fans had to locate and clear their own seats:

If you saw the video that the Bills shared on Saturday night, you know that the conditions on Monday were actually a huge improvement. Fans in Buffalo were probably more than happy to scoop some snow off of their seats for an opportunity to watch their team in the playoffs.
