Vikings make major decision on Justin Jefferson’s injury
The Minnesota Vikings have had a rough start to the 2023 season, and things are about to get even more difficult for them.
Justin Jefferson suffered a hamstring injury during Sunday’s loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, the Vikings have decided to place the star wide receiver on injured reserve. That means Jefferson will miss at least four games.

The plan for the Vikings is to see how Jefferson responds to treatment, which means it is possible he could be out even longer.

Jefferson ranks third in the NFL through five games with 571 receiving yards. He led the league last season with 1,809 yards. The Vikings only have one win through their first five games. They could fall into an even bigger hole now that Jefferson is sidelined.
