Kordell Stewart is dating Towanda Braxton
Former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Kordell Stewart filed for divorce from his ex-wife Porsha Williams last year. Williams was one of the stars of the reality TV series “Real Housewives of Atlanta.” It appears as though Stewart has gone from one reality TV star to the next, as he is now dating Towanda Braxton.
Braxton, the sister of Toni Braxton and former member of the R&B group The Braxtons, confirmed her relationship with Stewart during a recent appearance on Bettheny Frankel’s talk show. She was also asked about Kordell’s marriage to Williams.
“I don’t know what actually happened in their marriage, you know so that was just the one side of the situation,” Braxton said, according to Reality TV Magazine. “He wasn’t on the show, she was on the show. She was telling her side of the situation.”
Braxton also called Stewart a “really nice guy” and “great dad,” adding that the drama from the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” definitely took its toll on him.
“Quite often people don’t understand that when you put everything tumultuously like that on television, it affects the children,” Braxton said.
Stewart has two sons from a previous relationship. He and Williams have no children together, and Porsha claimed last year that she learned Stewart was filing for divorce when she read it online.
Braxton and her four sisters star in the WE reality series “Braxton Family Values.” They were working on an EP during the second series of the show, though it is unclear if the album will actually be released.
