NBC shows nudity with underwater camera in women’s water polo
NBC needs to start reviewing footage from its underwater cameras at the Rio Olympics before airing replays.
On Tuesday, brief nudity was shown on live television during a women’s water polo match between the United States and Spain. We’re obviously not going to show it to you here.
Wardrobe malfunctions are not uncommon in water polo because of all the hand-fighting that goes on under the surface of the water. As Deadspin notes, the same thing actually happened four years ago — between the same two teams — at the Beijing Olympics. You would think NBC would have learned its lesson, but apparently someone was asleep at the wheel once again.
