If you’re going to spend thousands of dollars on front-row seats at a ballgame, you should at least watch the game to get your money’s worth. One fan at the Knicks-Nets game in New Jersey on Wednesday learned that lesson the hard way.
A man sitting in the front row close to the Nets bench was hit in the head by an errant pass from Tyson Chandler during the third quarter. The woman who was with him ducked out of the way because she was watching the game, but the man was texting rather than paying attention and got popped in the dome. Serves him right.
