Jae Crowder received a warm welcome back to Boston on Wednesday night.
Crowder was traded to Cleveland in the offseason as part of the Isaiah Thomas/Kyrie Irving deal. The teams met on Wednesday in Boston, and Crowder was introduced last from the Cavs’ lineup so that he could be honored by the crowd.
He got a really nice applause from the fans, as well as this tribute video:

Crowder played three seasons with the Celtics and was a very steady member of the starting lineup the past two seasons. He’s not a player Boston parted with easily, but they made the choice to deal him in order to get Irving.
