Roy Jones might have lost the fight but he went the whole 12 rounds and as bad as he was losen he hung in there like a true champ give the man his props for even going 12 rounds and not quitting so all yall haten and sayin he should retire need to get a life because he didnt give up i bet he’s not going to let that fight get the best of him.

yeah, jones is clearly past his prime. he actually put calzaghe on his ass ealy in the fight but was not able to finish him. the jones of 5-6 years ago keeps calzaghe on the canvas. i was discussing the fight with my buddy , and we agreed that if you don’t beat a fighter when he’s at his peak, it takes some luster off of your victory. for many years, calzaghe refused to come to the united states and fight hopkins of jones for fear of a decision going against him. now that hopkins is 43 and jones is almost 40, he suddenly changes his mind?
