Ron Hunter crying will melt your heart (Video)

Georgia State was one of the best stories of the first week of March Madness thanks to their upset of three-seed Baylor on Thursday, which came on a game-winning shot by coach’s son R.J. Hunter, who dominated for the Panthers down the stretch.

Though the Panthers’ run came to an end against Xavier in a 75-67 loss Saturday, the team still enjoyed its brief moment in the spotlight. Ron Hunter, who became a national story for tearing his Achilles while celebrating his team earning a berth into the big dance (video here) and then went viral after falling out of his chair during the win over Baylor (video here), said in his postgame news conference that this was the best week of his life. He then broke down in tears and began crying while talking about his son, who may be headed to the NBA.

It doesn’t get much sweeter than that.
