Utah senior wide receiver Kaelin Clay cost his team terribly against Oregon.
Early in the second quarter of Saturday’s game, Clay caught a pass and took it for a would-be 79-yard touchdown to put the Utes up 14-0. However, Clay dropped the ball well before crossing the goal line. Oregon alertly picked it up and returned in 99 yards for a game-changing touchdown to tie the game at 7.

At least when DeSean Jackson did it, the other team didn’t get a touchdown the other way. Oh, and for the record, Clay went to Long Beach Poly for high school, which is the same school DeSean attended.
