They pick and choose who they wish to investigate. Take the situation here 4 years ago. The slightest sniff that Clarett did anything wrong and they descended on Columbus. Clarett wouldn't tell them who loaned him the car. He later admits it was from a family friend which is NOT against NCAA rules. Clarett suspended forever for 'lying to an NCAA committee'. At the same time you have a guy like Marlon Jackson who was charged with felony assault for refusing to leave a guy's house then smashing him in the face with a beer bottle. The judge and prosec. in the case all attended Michigan. They let him go with a misdemeanor and small fine. The victim: I guess that's how it works around here. It was also revealed that Jackson had a DUI earlier that year and kept it from the team. He was suspended for 1 cupcake game and the NCAA never shows up. I’m not gonna hold my breath on the NCAA.
